Bible Geocoding

Greetings to the reader's of Executable Preacher. I feel very honoured to have been asked by my very dear friend and brother, Mark Copeland, to be a contributing editor of this excellent blog! Executable Preacher has already greatly enriched my own personal ministry, and it is my hope and prayer that my contributions will enrich your walk with God!

On the ESV blog today there is a link to a new feature that can be used in connection with Google Earth called Bible Geocoding. What the creator of Bible Geocoding has done is to associate the location of every identifiable place mentioned in the Bible onto Google Earth maps.



He has done this for every book of the Bible with the exception of those books that list no place names.

Check it out for yourself, a great deal of time and effort has been put into this!
